Where your app's data lives

Each app lives in one region you choose: the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or Australia. The app, its database and its backups stay in that region. Your Haechy account, sign-in and billing don't: they run on Haechy's control plane in the US.

European Union Ireland Available
United Kingdom London Available
Australia Sydney Available

Some services we use to send email, verify phone numbers and take payments process data outside your chosen region. See our sub-processors.

Every region is ready to use

All four regions are available on every plan. Tell Claude which one you want and Haechy sets it up for you. The first app in a new region can take a few minutes longer to start.

On Free, you choose one region for the whole workspace. On Pro, Team and Business you choose for each app.

What lives where

Your app's region decides where the first three rows live. Everything below them is handled the same way whichever region you choose.

Choosing a region

Tell Claude where the app should live when you create it, for example "put it in the UK region". Pick the region where the people using the app are, or the one your company's data rules point to.

Choosing a region decides where the app and its data are stored. It doesn't change which countries can sign up for Haechy, and it doesn't put the data out of reach of the law of other countries: the servers in every region are run by a US cloud provider.

How the rest of Haechy is fenced in
